Push "Leave a copy of messages on the server" Setting to all Domain Users (Outlook 2007)
I am managing exchange 2003, which resides on a SBS. I have about 50 users, and there has been an administrative poilcy pushed down that requires that all outlook users have "Leave a copy of messages on the server" box checked, and for the messages to be removed after 90 days. Is there a script or some way I can push this out from the exchange server. I have SEVERAL remote users, some of which reside out of state. Going to each machine and updating this would be a real pain... Any help would be appreciated!

Exchange Server won't do that but Group Policy may. You might want to post this question in an Outlook forum, as it's Outlook-specific.-- Ed Crowley MVP"There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems.". One more thing--this setting applies to POP and IMAP protocols. If you're using MAPI (the Exchange Server service), all messages are left on the server by default as they should be, unless your users have configured their profiles to deliver all new mail to personal folders (a bad thing).-- Ed Crowley MVP"There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems.".
